Economics, Associate in Arts
The Economics Associate in Arts is designed to prepare students for transfer into a baccalaureate degree in economics from an institution that offers a broader Political Economy or Social Science perspective to economics. Students planning to transfer to the CSU or UC system should consider the Economics Associate in Arts for Transfer (Economics AA-T) degree. Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the program, students will be able to:
- Analyze markets using microeconomic techniques such as efficiency analysis, market structure analysis and rational behavior analysis as well as use macroeconomic data and apply macroeconomic models in order to understand the macro-economy.
