Fundamental IT Networking & Security, Certificate of Achievement
The Fundamental IT Networking & Security Certificate of Achievement provides the foundational knowledge to support IT systems, networks and hardware. Will prepare students for an entry-level help desk position in Information Technology. It will also prepare students to sit for the following industry certification exams:
- Cisco Certified Networking Associate
- CompTIA A+
- CompTIA Security+
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate
Upon successful completion of the program, students will be able to:
- Analyze information technology issues and provide a solution via known troubleshooting methodologies.
- Operate, configure, administer and maintain computer hardware, software and networks.
- Apply basic information technology security principles and practices when interacting with information systems.
